JetWater Technology Description
The JetWater purification process:
- The feedwater is preheated by the condensate leaving the system
- The feedwater is then degassed to reduce the chance of foaming in the kettle and preheated usually by heat exchange from the hot condensate
- The feedwater is then heated in the kettle until vaporised into steam and mechanically compressed to a higher pressure that the feedwater evaporation side
- The steam is then allowed to condense in a falling film heat exchanger at the higher pressure allowing the efficient reuse of the latent heat of vaporization to provide heat to vaporise the incoming feedwater. (High-pressure steam condenses at a higher temperature than that required to evaporate the raw feedwater)
- The condensate is collected, then passed through a heat exchanger (see first point) used to preheat the feedwater and reduce output water temperature
- Small volumes of concentrated brine are drawn off periodically for disposal or reuse.
The output water is of condensate or close to Ultra Pure quality.
A better solution to water supply and recycling challenges:
- Purify
- Desalinate
- Blend
- Remediate

“JetWater” Mechanical Vapour Compression Plant
The company has developed a number of plant configurations to provide delivered pure or potable water.
The company’s single module JWS water purification plant will produce 250,000 gallons of pure water per day.
Its commercial advantages are:
- Ability to process a wide range of feed waters.
- No chemical or pre or post treatment in seawater applications.
- Yield of up to 97%
- Plant life of up to 30 years
- Competitive operating cost
